Neu-Life Response to COVID-19.
Neu-Life continues to serve our families and youth remotely. Since the statewide closure of all K-12 schools on March 13th, Neu-Life has been innovative and resourceful in protecting the health and safety of families while continuing to act as a resource for academic support, mentoring and a critical bridge to community resources related to basic needs.
Unfortunately, we know that the north side of Milwaukee has been disproportionately affected by COVID-19, with 70 percent of deaths coming from within the African American community. For twenty years, Neu-Life has helped families in and around Lindsay Heights navigate obstacles to their well-being while providing a safe haven for kids and teens. We’re committed more than ever to making sure Neu-Life families have the resources and support they need.
If you are not already a supporter of Neu-Life, now is the time to become a Monthly Supporter or follow our story on Facebook.
